304 days. 43 weeks. Ten months. However you want to break it down, there’s not much time left to meet the standards of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have less than a year to get policies, procedures, and tools in place to accommodate the new rights given to individuals; design a program to perform regular Data Protection Impact Assessments; and ensure your systems meet tighter data security standards.

For U.S. companies that handle EU data, this is a daunting task to tackle. But Focal Point has been helping clients understand and implement GDPR plans for over a year now, and we’ve learned the key to a smooth GDPR implementation is taking the time to design a tactical, scalable implementation plan.

In this 60-minute on-demand webinar, we’ll discuss what we’ve learned from implementing GDPR programs for global companies and how to apply these lessons to your own implementation strategy. Viewers will get a first-hand look at:

  • The common pitfalls of designing a GDPR implementation plan
  • Key takeaways from real-world GDPR implementation experiences
  • Methods for categorizing implementation projects so they align with other initiatives
  • How to build a communication plan around your GDPR implementation that scales across your whole enterprise

The webinar includes a 15-minute Q&A with our panelists.
